Meet the Team
Executive Director
Lisa
Lisa, our Director, is dedicated to serving those facing injustice, inspired by her faith in Jesus. After becoming a widow in 1998, she started the ministry to help empower and support others. A mother of four and grandmother of eight, Lisa transitioned from a career in tax accounting to focus on Rising Tide Ministries full-time in late 2022. Her early experiences with home repair parties and a unique understanding of being unseen fuel her passion to help others succeed and thrive.

Rosie
Rosie embodies pure joy and radiates the love of her heavenly Father. With a warm smile and a readiness to pray or share a laugh, she brightens everyone’s day. A devoted member of Rising Tide Ministries since its inception, Rosie warmly welcomes each shopper and goes the extra mile to assist them. She is happily married and a proud mother to one son.
Meet the Board
Katie
Katie immigrated from Ireland in. 1980. She raised her son as a single mother and understands the struggle. While she was raised in church it wasn’t in 1997 that she was saved and delivered. Katie loves well and never meets a stranger. She is always ready to offer a helping hand to anybody I need. Katie laughs easily and the joy of the Lord is evident in her life She currently spends her time between work and spending her time with the love of her life her granddaughter. Katie has an excellent sense of style and decorating. She faithfully prays for those she loves.
Marilyn
Marilyn was a teenage runaway from a broken family with an immigrant, lower class back round. Her one saving grace was going to the same Catholic grade school for 8 years. Her Father allowed her to marry at 17, hoping to keep her out of further trouble. Now she has been married for 55 years now! It's all because of what God did! After 2 years and almost divorcing, they were introduced to Jesus and she repented of all her past sinful life! She became a "Jesus People" and reading the Bible completely changed her life! She wants everyone to know that God's ways are the BEST! She has joined her husband over the years in working in different ministries, you can read his bio for that!
Richard
Richard grew up in a middle class family which was very chaotic due to his Mother's alcoholism. She died when he was 15, leading him to delve into alcohol & drugs. At 18 he was busted and convicted for possession of marijuana (they couldn't convict him on the sales charge), and he spent 18 months in prison. He got married shortly after his release. Two years later when he gave his life to Jesus, he traded in a career as a professional drummer to pursue a life of ministry! He has worked with all ages of people from children to adults and has seen the Lord do many miracles! The Lord has allowed him to be involved in Evangelistic outreach, Coffeehouse ministry, Drug rehab programs, Bible teaching, Children's homes, TV camera ministry, and lots of entrepreneur ventures throughout! "As unto the Lord," and to God be the glory!
John
John came from a divorced family growing up. His mom was very close to the Lord and his dad gave him reigns to do whatever he wanted and go wherever he pleased. As a teenage boy, it was no surprise he chose to stay with his dad. After many close encounters with death and in and out of jail, he decided to give his life to God and raise his children in the Lord. John and Adrina met at church and got married after only a 3 month courtship. Together, they share 10 beautiful children, 5 bonus children, and 10 grandchildren.
Adrina
Adrina was raised in a Christian home but did not actually meet the Lord until she turned 30 years old. After her divorce to a man from a good christian home, she had many questions about how this could happen to them. She learned very quickly that God answered all of her questions about the trinity, about religion and false gods, and about how she could change herself before she tried to change those around her. After spending two years on food stamps and government assistance, God opened the door for her to get a good job and a place for her and her children. She moved up in the company and was relocated to El Paso and Houston, but had an urge to come back home to Corpus Christi, Texas where she met her husband, John and his beautiful children.
